刪/why you have been deleted

In Thinkcount's more than five years of blogging, we only ever deleted three comments.

In each and everyone of them, what we found offensive hadn't much to with the content, but had everything to do with the snarky and impertinent tone in which the opinion was expressed.

If there's one thing we absolutely cannot abide, it's unprovoked rudeness and disrespect. Thinkcount is really rather old-school that way.

We are all for free exchanges of ideas. But the ideas must be couched in terms that are not unnecessarily personal, spiteful, or just plain nasty.

And that's why this kind of hateful, ill-mannered comments is ruthlessly and unapologetically banned on our little blog.

After all, one wouldn't anyhow allow an un-house-trained beast to come into, and foul up, one's lovingly tended garden now would one.

And please don't bother to answer. That's a rhetorical question.

Dear DG

Thank you for your kind support dear.

Yes, I don't at all mind others disagreeing with me. But I really do mind when others speak to me in an uncivil, and uncivilised, manner. That's where I'll cut off the exchange.

Manners, these young kids are just not taught any manners at all. :(
